Be Consistent with the Right Thing

Is consistency the key to Success? No it is not. Lazy people are consistent. Drug dealers are consistent. So is just being consistent the key to success? No. Being consistent about the right thing is the key to success.
Have you ever watched Cesar Millan the Dog Whisperer? It is amazing what he can do with dogs. He gets the worst dogs to suddenly behave in a very good manner. He does not train them, he leads them. He is the model of consistency, and the model of the right thing to be consistent of.
His model of consistency is called Calm Assertive. Basically stated he becomes the leader of the pack, but he also listens to the needs of the pack. By leading and listening he is able to get the pack to do what he wants, at the same time giving the pack what it needs.
You too can use the model of calm assertive in your everyday life. Simply concentrate on being consistent about the right thing. Doing this gives you the ability to get things accomplished in a quick and efficient manner giving you more time to do the things that you want to.
Being in the calm assertive state also lets you listen to those around you. If you are concentrating too much on a single task, or a single goal, sometimes you tune out those around you. Listening keeps yourself open minded able to accept others opinions, suggestions, and ideas. This is a big key to success. Like Cesar with the pack, you too can become a leader among people by listening to their needs and helping them achieve them.
Finally Cesar says that we must all start the day with a good stretch, celebrate the day with a good deep breath taking in the surroundings, and to enjoy the little things in life. Lead with passion and calm assertiveness and you will see your success and prosperity skyrocket.
