		<description>It kind of seems like they are contradicting themselves in a way, and also being positive for the wrong reasons. 

First, that's kind of being negative about being positive. lol 

Plus, the idea of being positive isn't to "never have bad things happen". It's to help yourself enjoy life and also to train yourself to have an easier time getting through the bad/rough times, isn't it?
